Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Every Thursday I have decided I am going to create the Most Wanted List. These are items that I am wanting from bargains galore to items way out of my league.

Todays most wanted item is the fabulous Lanvin Brass-embellished lambskin cape!

It is only 9467.52 pounds it is 100% lambskin from China (I know dont get too upset) and silk lining but it most definitly will be keeping me warm this winter. Any takers to purchase this cape for me?

The very lovely Vera Wang has just announced NYC’s favourite girl at the moment,
Leighton Meester, as the face of Vera Wang’s new fragrance (with details yet to be released!). But fear not, here is a sneak peek of Mlle Meester filming the commercial in an apartment in NYC and the gown is absolutely DEVINE (Courtesy of Just Jared.) The $3 million contract will be lasting 2 years so be prepared to see her beautiful face on the commercial and billboards around the world… OOH LA LA!

I’m Not Dead.

I know. I am sorry. That is all I can say. I do have a life and am finding it extremely difficult to find time to blog. But this is no excuse I promise to seek time to type, but the reason I have been extremely busy is the Number One fashion event is occurring next week well in Perth (it’s the only thing I look forward to in this small isolated city)! Not only that I will be backstage in every single MUST-BE event, this includes: WHEELS AND DOLLBABY, RUTH TARVYDAS, WA FASHION AWARDS and more. I will be keeping a very detailed behind the scenes look just for you. So I know its NO Paris or New York Fashion Show, but it’s the best I got so excuse me for being excited. But anyway, it is about time I give the verdict on the EMMYS.

The tuxedo can NEVER go wrong. The haircut a bit questionable. Claire Danes…
It’s rather difficult for me to discuss I am usually NOT a fan sequins but this is definitely one of the nicer gowns from the Emmy’s. The subtle “Nude” colour which is definitely huge especially with shoes is nice and not in your face especially since it is all “sequiny”

After Thought: It’s horrible. It perhaps, maybe, slightly, okay has NO potential. Oh and her dress looks as stiff as Derek Zoolander’s hair. Seriously.

I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS. I like the colour, and it definitely was a risk but I think it is intriguing and fun. I just want to stare at it all day and I really want to touch that fabric and figure how it was made. It could have a little less train as the fabric looks quite heavy but I like this. A LOT.

LAGERFELD… MORE LIKE LAGERFILM

If you have been a million miles away from the fashion world then you may not have known that one of my favourite old man, Karl Lagerfeld released a short film Remember Now featuring those ‘it’ Chanel models and the clothing and setting in Saint Tropez. Oh how I do wish majorly that I could be part of that world and own all of those clothes, life would be much more simpler if we only needed worry about what others wore. This film which premiered the night before the Resort 2011 show proved to be what was needed to make it an unforgettable show and do not forget GEORGIA MAY JAGGER who I absolutely adore on the motorcycle, it makes me think how come I was not born to famous parents (Love you mum!) But then again I will definitely will have earnt my position once I get to where KL is now.

THE MET 20TEN

It is the annual Met Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where the Costume Institute gala Benefit celebrate the “American Woman: Fashioning the Identity.” All in all the night held a lot with celebrities, glamour, a red carpet all in the name of fashion what is not to love! Here are some of my favourite outfits and the least favourite. Special mention to Tina Fey leaping out fabulously in the YSL jumpsuit.

THUMBS DOWN for Kristen Stewart, my golly gosh good way to ruin a chic and beautiful Chanel dress. Was she watching the original series of Beverly Hills 90210 that made her decide to go for a what could be mistaken for the claw hairstyle. I do admire the work of Chanel and Monsieur Lagerfeld, but the dress looks like it is cut to short and the chiffon dress looks like Stewart decided to put a slip underneath. An interesting idea however the execution was terrible.

THUMBS UP for Emma Watson, removing the status of trend following teen to sophisticated woman. She was looking absolutely divine in a custom made Burberry Gown. Little to say except for the fact that I am not usually a fan of one shoulder dresses but this one is absolutely beautiful perhaps it is because of the simple and clean white matched with feminine and delicate frills or maybe the perfect amount of sexiness of the leg split dress whilst still remaining classy. Whatever it is all I know is Christopher Bailey is a genius.

THUMBS UP for Mila Kunis, specially designed Vera Wang gown. Need I say more, I am like melting at the dynamic duo, and this gown definitely has to be a favourite of my mine for the night! Just check it out for yourself. FN: Vera Wang looked absolutely chic as well!

Other do-gooders:
-Jennifer Lopez, definitely stripping her J.Lo nickname (who ever ends up still liking their nickname after 5 years anyway?) she looked stylish and glamorous in a Zuhair Murad gown.
-Nicole Richie, looking like a new person in a lovely metallic Marc Jacobs gown. YUMMY MUMMY.

Other “I look so hot” but you actually are not Thinkers :
-Katy Perry, NO COMMENT, seriously all she wants is attention on herself.
- Maggie Gyllenhaal, in Louis Vuitton, the dress is lovely and Marc Jacobs is like fashion god, but this dress did not suit her frame it was overpowering her, the poor thing looked like she made a dress out of her doonas.

Golden Oldie. This was done November last year, for my portfolio. Kudos, to the lovely and dearest model Eva. Apart from the modelling everything else is done by me, styling, photography and photoshopping and i made both the frilled top and pencil skirt. It is a black singlet top with three ruffles and high waisted skirt. Let me know, whether you like, dislike or whatever you feel like.

So this was featured in Harpers Bazaar a few months ago, but I seriously cannot get enough of it. Taking the lovely Iris Strubegger takes on the various looks and personas of todays fabulous and flamboyant designers. Miss Sky Ferreira looks all grown up in her new music video "17." The song is alright a bit too high pitched for me and some of the lyrics annoy me, I do prefer "Stand Back" Check out the clip and let me know what you think. BTW the girl is actually 17 and she looks so much older! I have no problem with it although some are saying she is a bit trashy,, what about you??

Bottle Me Up and Take Me Home.

Is it not swell. I doust wish I lived in France, so I could see this advertising campaign all over the billboards. Karl who designed the bottle for Coca-Cola Light also shot the campaign feating Coco Rocha (in Chanel of course!) as well as Lagerfeld's favourite male model: Baptiste Giacombini, showing all over France in 22 days! (28 April) Damn, why can't they sell these bottles in Australia they would totally be off the shelf in a second and I would most likely allow it to join my-collection-of-pointless-rubbish-things-which-I-do-not-see-as-rubbish-but-mainly-a-signficant-thing-in-my-life-and-a-step-close-to-my-dream *exhale deep breath* . Do you love it as much as I do or is the image of Chanel going down in your eyes?

Monday. New day, new week, and just the beginning.

What am I loving? To be honest I am not too sure, this week was a hard one, but I thought about it long and hard and I am loving The Beautiful Fall by Alicia Drake.

Basically it is about the world of Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld turning from friends to competitors.

A great read as you gain an insight to their world at the time, however the beginning is a bit slow but once you get into you can not get out. Just another tincy winsy note, Drake did not interview Saint Laurent or Lagerfeld. But Read it, goddammit.

Paris Fashion Week: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Part 1

So my favourite time of the year has finished and I know its been a while since I have last updated (okay ages) but get over it not that there is really anyone reading, but I like to imagine so. Anyway so the past four weeks have gone in a flash of course beginning with New York, followed by London, Milan and finishing in Paris.

Im going to take it slowly and begin with two 'geniuses' Victor and Rolf. Need I say more. The show took place on March 6 and it was definetly one which no one will forget. Putting on a fabulous performance, as per usual, Kristen McMenamy a 90's model stood extremely still on stage with the star duo standing behind. Wearing over nine different coats layered on top of each other (believe it or not it did look extremely stylish, how do they do it?) she even estimated it was three times her body weight! Although I was not a huge fan of the leather hats!

Anyway the younger models came out and Kristen shed a coat each time, with the boys tweaking a few minor adjustments with the classic drawsting effect and more, yet each coat on each model remained looking effortless, prestine and devine! If only I was there in person.

Already sexing up the ad campaigns for Hudson Jeans and doing editorials for Vogue, it makes me question why wasn't I doing that at 17! Oh wait my father is not Mick Jagger, I forgot.

That's right it's the new collection from Chanel. The collection are a series of hand bags from bowling bags to totes and travel bags. Totally reversible to flaunt the classic quilted chanel bag. The campaign gets yor sex on. Lilly Allen (pictured) shows off the new collection impeccably, however there are quite a few of the same poses of holding the glasses- although they all look pretty hot!

I made the dress with the intention to play with texture. Satin bodice and leathery look of the skirt contrasted with a lace. The bodice is sweetheart shape and has a low cut back, with the lace straps crossing over at the back. A feminine take on rock ‘n’ roll.

No. I do not have enough time to study let alone sew. But I make time, I also make time to read "books worthy of my time" as I call it. I am currently reading Dior by Dior an autobiography by one of the legends of fashion. It is actually interesting as it talks about the beginnings of the Dior Couture House as well as his life and adventures. Anyway it is totally for any fashion savvys as it is interesting and cotains pictures of his life! :D Below is the cover if you ever want to get the image.

They are always the hardest. You dont want to sound gay, yet you want to sound slick and inprint some words in order for others to come back to read your blog. Beginnings are always the hardest. If you compare it to life beginning of life is gruesome and painful, beginning to walk or a new job, and school with questions of whether you will be able to make and meet new friends and the minor doubts in the back of your head which you shove even further. I repeat it, beginnings are the hardest. I know when I met my new manager at work, it was awkward, and quiet but after a while we broke the ice. No need for me to carry on, however this blog is to really flaunt your style, things you love, music you listen. Have your say, because honesty is the best policy. But mainly I will probably talk about fashion.
